The heart of every mother:
There lies some special things.
She loves to cuddle little ones,
As she softly sings.
All the lullabies of yesteryear,
Those sung by mommy dear.
Rock the baby, go to sleep
And ones we love to hear.
But what about the deaf mother,
Who sings with hands, not voice.
Who hmmmmm's a separate tune
That makes all heaven rejoice.
She can still feel the heartbeat
Of the babe so near her breast.
As she rocks him ere so gently
To sweet and peaceful rest.
Then there is the special mother,
Who has the child who does not hear.
She, too, must use her hands
To convey her love so dear.
So here's to all the mothers
Who're sent from Heaven above,
A figurine that's just for you...
